Peer Review Process

Each article that is submitted will first go through a selection process by the journal’s editorial board. If selected, an article is then sent to a qualified reviewer. The reviewers who work with Predica Verbum are experts in the fields of Christian theology and practice. Since the journal conforms to a double-blind, peer-reviewed system, neither the author nor the reviewer will know each other’s identity. The reviewer will assess each manuscript according to a rubric that considers aspects of both content and formatting. The recommendation of the reviewer will be rendered within 30 days of the receipt of the article, although the final decision regarding publication rests with the editorial board. If the article is accepted for publication, it may first be returned to the author for revisions.
